While these public ones are family friendly, one must remember that they are vacationing in a place called Sin City. This luxury comes at a cost, though, and can range anywhere from a few hundred to a few thousand, depending on the day. Cabana rentals (which can be take care of at ) typically come equipped with mini bars (or wait service), flat-screen TV's, and comfortable seating for a group of people. The public ones, which require no more than a keycard from the corresponding hotel, typically offer simple cabana and lounge rentals for a guaranteed spot to lay poolside. Every parties on the Strip (even the smaller, lesser known ones) is equipped with a varying array of essentials to keep its guests entertained and comfortable. While not every one of them takes on that "resort" feel, all of them work as points of relaxation for those needed a day of r & r. It is no exaggeration that every hotel on the Strip has a pool to go along with it. From the west end to the far east side of Las Vegas Boulevard, there are numerous and luxurious. While these two resorts may have the most elaborate set-up, that's not to say the pools on the rest of the Strip are not worth visiting – in fact, far from it. Tubes are made available by the hotel to give the laziest of the lazy a place to lie down as the water drifts them around in one big circle. Set apart from the regular area is a snaking lazy river that loops around like a ride at a water park. Rivaling Mandalay in pool-side activities is the MGM Grande, which adds an extra depth to the concept of relaxing waterside. A sandy beach-like area lines the relaxing main area while a wave adds a bit of excitement to the tropically themed area. Simply staring at it through an overlooking window gives the feeling that you've settled in at a tropical resort, and you should expect to be spending your vacation sipping pina coladas from a coconut. This is a statement that may be argued by some, but Mandalay Bay is home to one of the best pools in Las Vegas. Starting at the far west side of the Strip is the luxury resort hotel Mandalay Bay. If there's one other saving grace when traveling to the Las Vegas desert in the summer, it's the almost innumerable amount of resort pools that guests will have access to. ![]() Part of that may just be the general ambiance that Sin City takes on during the summer and these travelers are just hoping to catch glimpses of the gorgeous fare that grace the city with their slick, bikini-clad bodies throughout the summer. It's no secret that the blazing sun of the desert is at its pique in the mid months of July and August, yet these months are amongst the most popular in terms of tourists traveling to Las Vegas.
